David Thomas
Creative Director, Principal - Certificate IV in Graphic Design
David began his career as an architectural draftsman and subsequently completed his graphic design qualifications at Shillington College. He has over 15 years of experience in account management, retail sales and direct marketing. David leads the graphic design team and oversees all client liaison, scheduling and production to ensure a cohesion and complete understanding of client needs from inception to the point of delivery.

Graphic Designer - Certificate IV in Design
Amy joined the BUGS in February 2011 but in a very short period of time has made an incredible impact on the team and our clients. It is as if she has been a BUG right from the start. Amy has the ability to exude calm under calamity and adds a wealth of experience to thebughouse with her knack for social media and of course creative talent. She has the proven ability to work well in high pressured environments and without coffee!

Graphic Designer - Bachelor of Design and Visual Communication
Certainly the quiet achiever of the team - known not to say alot, but when she does, it always hits the mark. Nat has been one of our most successful designers in ‘winning’ client choice and gaining design consensus. From her tertiary studies and practical experience, Nat effectively applies the science of psychology and her understanding of the emotional quotient to the design process to optimise response. Her passion for work is driven by a strong community spirit.

Dan Martin
Office Administration, Super Dog Walker and Graphic Designer
Dan joined BUG early 2010 as a training designer after graduating top of class from the Design Centre Enmore (Sydney Institute TAFE). Today, he is an integral part of thebughouse not only for his creativity but his sense of organisation (figure that!) and dedication to the happiness of our 4-legged friends and the office at large.

Karina is the eternal enthusiast for all things design. Every wheel should be open to reinvention, the world is anyone's oyster, but it'd certainly be far more exiciting if we could paint the shell another colour. Her combined studies in communication and design brings about the perfect formula - creativity with a purpose.

Shanti is the newest BUG with the effervesence of a Schweppes lemonade that has just been shaken up. She brings great experience, talent and sense of organisation to the team with previous experience in print, web and animation. Her cupcake making skills was also a determining factor when it came to picking the right person to join the BUGS!

Janet Leung
Business Consultant / Facilitator - Bachelor of Accounting Finance & IS UNSW, Certificate IV in Training & Assessment UTS
Janet adds a level of expertise to BUG that extends beyond the aesthetics of design. With over 20 years of business management and consulting experience, she now specialises in assisting business leaders in communicating and instilling Brand and Cultural values across organisations. She is an accredited trainer/facilitator and actively facilitates strategic forums and conducts executive development and mentoring programs nationally.

Roy Pond
Creative Director and Copy Writer Roy oversees Creative Direction and is our Senior Copy writer. He possesses an enviable track record of both building strong emotional bonds between brands and consumers and creating effective, award-winning direct marketing. In his previous agency roles, he worked with brands such as AGL (Natural Gas, “The Living Flame”) and Jacob’s Creek (“Australia’s Top Drop”) and charities such as Amnesty International (“Human Rights Defenders”) and World Vision (Child Sponsorship).
